SPEAK LIFE DAY 15

The Finished Work of Christ

The finished work of Christ is what grants us access to the courts of heaven.

According to Colossians 2:14-15, Christ canceled the record of debt against us, removing the legal claims of the enemy, and triumphing over him on the cross. Because of this, we can boldly approach God’s throne and stand in the victory already won for us!

"Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." – Colossians 2:14-15

Victory is Legally Ours in Christ

Just as earthly courts operate on laws and legalities, the courts of heaven function according to divine principles. Satan’s accusations against us are based on sin, iniquity, and spiritual agreements that give him access to hinder God’s promises. But through repentance, faith, and legal access in the courts of heaven, we can revoke the enemy’s claims and enforce God’s will over our lives.

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" – Genesis 18:25

The Spiritual Realm Where God is Enthroned: Understanding the Courts of Heaven

In the heavenly realm, God is enthroned as the righteous Judge, ruling with perfect justice. The battle against the enemy has already been won through Christ, but many believers struggle to see the victory manifest in their lives. Why? Because the enemy, Satan—the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10)—operates on legal grounds in the spiritual realm.

Entering the Courts of Heaven

Before making any bold declarations, we must first enter God’s courtroom and plead our case before Him. Here’s how:

1️⃣ Come Before God as Judge – Acknowledge Him as the ultimate authority over all things. (Psalm 89:14)
2️⃣ Present Your Case with Repentance – Any unconfessed sin or generational iniquity must be brought before God to remove the enemy’s legal rights. (1 John 1:9)
3️⃣ Renounce Any Agreements with the Enemy – Break any spiritual covenants that have given Satan access to delay or hinder your blessings. (Colossians 2:14)
4️⃣ Declare the Finished Work of Christ – Stand on the victory of Jesus and claim God’s promises as legally yours. (Romans 8:37)
5️⃣ Enforce Your Righteous Verdict – Once you receive God’s judgment in your favor, walk in faith and authority, knowing His will is established in your life.

"For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us." – Isaiah 33:22

Today’s Light Day Challenge

Take time today to study the courts of heaven and understand how God, as the righteous Judge, has provided a way for us to be justified, freed, and victorious through Christ. Seek His presence, ask for revelation, and prepare to step into the divine justice system of heaven.

Are you ready to claim your legal victory? Declare:

“Lord, I come before Your courts today. I repent of any agreement with the enemy and receive the victory that Jesus won for me! Amen.”
