Knowledge & Revelation
Knowledge brings deliverance
Revelation brings redemption
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. —Hosea 4:6
Understanding the Difference: Deliverance vs. Redemption
When it comes to hair health and wholeness, many women struggle with recurring hair issues, scalp concerns, and frustration from lack of results. These challenges often stem from limited knowledge and lack of spiritual insight. Let’s break down two powerful concepts: deliverance and redemption, and how they relate to your hair journey.
Deliverance: Immediate Breakthrough
Deliverance is the immediate rescue from specific struggles like hair breakage, thinning edges, dryness, or scalp irritation. It's a physical, visible breakthrough—just like finally seeing hair growth after implementing the right care routine. Deliverance is a direct response to action, much like prayer and faith activating a shift in our circumstances.
Redemption: Lasting Transformation
Redemption is deeper. It’s being spiritually and mentally freed from the cycles of negative beliefs, insecurity, and frustration tied to your hair. It’s no longer battling the same issues over and over again. Redemption means embracing the truth of who you are in Christ, understanding that your beauty is God-ordained, and walking in the confidence that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Why Knowledge and Revelation Matter
"The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." – Isaiah 11:2
Knowledge brings deliverance. Without knowledge, you can’t apply the right strategies for hair health. Many women rely solely on products or trends without understanding what their hair truly needs. Knowledge empowers you to:
Identify the root causes of hair damage.
Choose the right treatments and care routines.
Break free from damaging habits passed down through generations.
Have You Rejected God’s Knowledge?
Hosea 4:6 warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” But the danger wasn’t just ignorance—it was rejection of knowledge. Israel didn’t simply lack understanding; they actively ignored and dismissed it. Many of us do the same when it comes to our hair and overall well-being.
Just as the Israelites rejected divine wisdom, many women reject the knowledge required for true hair transformation. We continue unhealthy habits, neglect proper care, and believe lies about our hair’s potential. We rely on quick fixes rather than seeking God’s wisdom for holistic healing.
Jesus: The Ultimate Source of Wisdom
The coming of Jesus Christ illustrates God’s love in its fullest form. Jesus died for the sins of all people, offering every person the opportunity to come to faith in Him (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9). For those who believe, Jesus becomes “wisdom from God” (1 Corinthians 1:30). Because of Christ, there is no need for anyone to be destroyed from a lack of knowledge.
Taking Action: Walking in Deliverance and Redemption
If you want to see transformation in your hair, health, and wholeness, it starts with knowledge and revelation. Seek wisdom in your hair care journey—both practical knowledge and spiritual insight. Do not reject the truth God is revealing to you about your beauty, your worth, and your health.
